• HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE TO SERVE MY PAPERS?

 Routine
° Most Miami-Dade papers are typically attempted within one to three business days.
° Most Broward papers are typically attempted within one to three business days.
° Most Palm Beach papers are typically attempted within one to three business days.
° Outside tri-county routine service papers typically take on average between seven to ten    business days to serve unless special arrangements are made.  (e.g., FedEx)

Rush
A rush service is typically defined as same or next day service and is handled with priority by our offices.  Please call our office should you need a more accurate answer, as this can be location specific.

Same Day Rush
Rushes can be served the same day given, however, it is necessary to call our office to discuss location and timing.

Other Information
It is very important that should you ever need special care taken for a paper or ever have special instructions for a paper, please let us know.  Additionally, all the information you have regarding service is always greatly appreciated and desired.


• SERVING A POLICE OFFICER IN MIAMI-DADE COUNTY?
Please note, police officers can no longer be served through the court liason.  All police officers must be served individually.  Please also note witness fee checks are needed.  Please don’t forget to include this with your paper.


• SERVING A FIREFIGHTER?
Please note, service on a firefighter can sometimes be difficult.  Again these papers need to be served individually.  Shift information is very important and should be included when given to our office.  Firefighters work 24 hours on and 48 hours off, which means we have one day to serve them and we have to wait additional days to serve them again.  Shift information and station information is sometimes inaccurate when given to us from the stations as firefighters switch shifts and cover a lot for other firefighters at different stations.  Please also note witness fee checks are needed.  Please don’t forget to include this with your paper.

• SERVICE ON SUNDAYS?
Keep in mind, by law, service is not permitted on this day, unless you have special permission from a judge.
